Scrolls is a very simple feature - you get Scrolls, which when you open give you Quests, which you can complete for rewards!
You start in the /scrolls GUI, where you can choose to buy a Mystery Quest Scroll for Money ($30,000) or Solcoins (20). You can do this every 4hrs, as there is a cooldown.
Upon purchasing a Mystery Scroll, a GUI animation will pop up, randomising a Scroll for you. The items will slowly disappear and then you can collect the last Scroll remaining.
The Scrolls come in 5 tiers of increasing difficulty, rarity and rewards. The tiers are as follows:
Novice Tier - Easy and accessible early Quests.
Adventurer Tier - Slightly tougher Quests, often requiring some exploring, but still accessible.
Elite Tier - A mix of Novice and Adventurer Quests, but with much higher targets.
Master Tier - Difficult and complex Quests that often require good MC knowledge
Legendary Tier - Instead of being given a Quest, you're given a riddle or clue that you first need to try to solve, then you can complete the Quest.
As of launch there are currently over 250 Quests with more always being added, and randomised targets, so the variety and possibilities are endless!
For example, this is what a Novice Tier Quest may look like:
Once you have your Quest, you must Right Click the Quest in your hand to begin, which will allow you to start tracking your progress, but also gives you the chance to sell the Quest if you don't want to do it!
Then, whilst completing the Quest, there are two main ways to see your progress:
Right Click the Quest - This will give you a quick summary of the progress made in this quest, pointing out that it's Incomplete, or will give you the rewards if it's finished!
/scrolls progress - This gives you a progress summary of ALL active Quests!
Once you have completed a Quest, right clicking the Quest map item you have will give you the rewards and take the Quest item. You will be rewarded with a set of Solcoins, and rarely a Solace Crate Key will drop! You can preview the specific rewards for each Tier in the /scrolls GUI.
You can see a summary of your completed Scrolls with /scrolls stats at any time. There are plans to add a Leaderboard for this soon!
Another thing to keep in mind is that many common exploits will have been factored in, to make the system fairer. For example, if you get a Quest to Mine Ice Blocks, placing Ice Blocks will subtract points, so you have to go out and actually collect them. Maybe fixes like this will be in place - but please do report any others you find, and we will reward you
