🐈Hoarder

Trade in your spare resources for awesome rewards!

Got some spare resources? This is the place! Hoarder is another custom-made feature just for Solace, where you can sell your spare resources for tons of awesome & exclusive rewards!

Hoarder Competitions

Hoarder contains two timed competitions, where The Hoarder will be looking for 1 specific material at a time. The two types are:

  • Rush: 20 minute competitions that happen randomly throughout the day

  • Normal: 6 hour competitions that are often live, but not always

For each competition, when active there is a specific material/resource that the Hoarder is looking for. You can see this in the /hoarder GUI on the left, where the icon and name will tell you the material they want.

You will also see the offering, which represents how many you need to submit per Hoarder Credit rewarded. For example if it says "1 Credit per 128", then submitting 2 stacks of the requested material would give you 1 Credit.

Hoarder Credits

As just mentioned, the currency for Hoarder is Hoarder Credits. You earn them based on how much you submit, but also from your placement in the Top 5. If you're interested in the exact specifics of how they're earned, here's a full breakdown of the ways Hoarder Credits are earned:

1 - Submitting Materials

This is the main earning method, as mentioned above. However, the slight twist is that the reward decays after you submit a lot: Every 250 Credits you earn per single Hoarder Request, the reward-rate halves for any future amount you sell. To explain, let's go through a simple example:

Say there is an active Hoarder Rush competition for Wheat Seeds, at 1 Credit per 64. If you then submit 250 stacks, you will have earned 250 Credits. At this point, the GUI will update to show you that the price has halved (1 Credit per 128), which means if you were to submit another 250 stacks, you would only get 125 extra Hoarder Credits, equalling 375 total.

This of course resets each competition, so the next time you see Wheat Seeds as a requested material, it will be back to the base price again. This is designed to bring more balance to the feature, allowing the Credit rates to be good for the newer players without being too overpowered for those with millions of spare items.

Note: Any specific values on this page are always subject to change. At Solace we're always working hard to improve the experience for everyone and balance features where we can, so if you see slightly different values then check our latest updates, announcements and dev-logs in the Discord!

2 - Placing in the Top 5

Another way to earn Credits is by finishing in the top 5 of any Hoarder Competition. Here's the current rewards you can expect:

3 - Community Goal

Additionally, each Hoarder competition has an attached Community Goal, which can be previewed on the Nether Star on the right hand side of the /hoarder GUI.

If the Community Goal is hit, all credits earned by everyone for this competition are doubled! This includes anything you submit before or after the Goal is hit, and also the placement rewards shown above.

Credits are handed out at the end of competitions. If you're online when the competition ends, your rewards will automatically be handed to you, otherwise you will be notified of pending rewards and you'll be able to run /hoarder claim to redeem them!
